So, final boss in Trial of the Grand Crusader went down tonight, after a few heartbreaking attempts yesterday where we wiped at 8% and then 6%, followed by an even more heartbreaking wipe today at 2%.We pulled our act together, and without a doubt I would have to say this is the best bosskill we've had so far in Wrath of the Lich King! Big thanks to everyone in the raid, but also to those who sat out. Couldn't have done this progression without you. We made it with 42 tries left, only 3 short of gaining some extra loot (I won't mention what we got, it sucked!)
All in all I think most of us have a mixed feeling about Trial of the Crusader. While most of our members would agree that the normal modes was too easy, I'm not so sure they would say the same about the heroic modes and especially 25 player heroic. All in all I'm personally very satisfied with the dungeon. It suited us as a guild very good, and a similar concept that favors attempts over time spent would be great in the future.
.. other bosses in WOTLK were just .. fuck .. thank god that`s over .. this had a nice learning curve .. I bet we`ll one shot it next time now that we basically perfected all the phases
